Welcome to LEMAC
One of Britains largest aero modelling
clubs, LEMAC has been established since 1944/5, when a group of friends used a little outside store room of the Pavilion Hotel at
Station Road, Long Eaton, as a meeting room for what was then named Long
Eaton Model Aeroplane Club.
We now have weekly meetings at Sawley Church
Hall, with a very active membership that enjoys
all forms of aero modelling - aeroplanes, helicopters, gliders - I/C powered,
electric -
 radio controlled,
free flight - indoor, outdoor.
So if you are interested to know more about
LEMAC - especially if you are new to the hobby - please feel free to come and talk
to us - either at a club meeting or join us on our flying field.
